My first ever blog! What to write, what to write?! Well firstly, it's been an exciting time this last 8 months. I got the idea for Dig Deeper, worked hard for 2 months getting my ideas down and then spent the rest of the time learning what it takes to be an indie author. It's been a learning curve and I've loved every minute of it. It is an amazing feeling to know that finally people are reading my stories! Having the book selling on Amazon and designing this website are dreams come true. I am working on the second book and I hope it will be with you soon. (When I get the time to sit down and spend some quality time on it. Life is so hectic at the moment!) This is definitely the start of a new chapter in my life. Bring it all on!! :)

Secondly, I thought I would use this first blog to introduce myself further and let you know a bit more about me and what makes me tick, so here goes!

My top favourite authors: Mike Gayle, Jane Green, Jodi Picoult, Chris Manby, Matt Dunn (I love me a bit of chick lit. but Lads lit. is just just as good. I also like some suspense stuff.)



A few of my favourite books: Of Mice and Men- John Steinbeck, The Green Mile- Stephen King, The Pact- Jodi Picolt (All of which have been made into films that I have seen and are very good films at that!)

Books I liked as a kid: Sweet Valley high, Point horror, The babysitters club (hmm... ​maybe explains my love for chick lit and suspense now!)

Currently reading: Betrayal by Bev Dulson (Come on the indie writers!!)

Favourite TV show: Criminal minds. I love the way they can see a crime scene or hear about a criminal's behaviour and then they are able to 'deliver the profile' to the other law enforcement people involved in catching the 'unsub' (unknown suspect). I want to join the FBI and become a member of the BAU (Behavioural Analysis Unit) all because of this show.

Favourite movie: Stand by me (A story of friendship and adventure and ...just....awww!)



Unusual foods I have tried: Frogs legs, Octopus, pigeon, snails, alligator (Frogs legs really do taste like chicken!)​



Drinks I like: Sparkling pink wine, Champagne, strawberry daiquiri, Tequila Sunrise (Yummy!)
